Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services provided by Foundation Point Inspections, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Scope of Service
Foundation Point Inspections provides professional visual home inspections for buyers, sellers, and homeowners. The inspection helps identify observable defects and provides clients with a better understanding of the home's condition at the time of the inspection.
3. Inspection Agreement
The inspection agreement explains what the inspection includes, what it does not include, and the limits of the service. It must be reviewed and signed before the inspection so that expectations are understood in advance.
4. Fees and Payment
Payment is due on or before the day of the inspection. Inspection reports are released after payment has been received and the inspection agreement has been signed.
5. Cancellation Policy
To avoid a $90 cancellation fee, please cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled inspection. Same day cancellations will be charged half of the inspection fee.
6. Client Responsibilities
For new construction or foreclosures, clients or realtors should ensure utilities are turned on at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled inspection time.
7. Insurance and Liability
We carry Errors and Omissions (E&O) and General Liability insurance. This coverage helps protect both the company and our clients in the event of certain covered claims.
8. Standards of Practice
Our inspections follow established InterNACHI standards of practice and code of ethics, providing a consistent framework for reporting visible conditions.
9. Confidentiality
All inspection results and reports are confidential and intended solely for the use of the client unless otherwise required by law or explicit consent.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and any disputes shall be resolved within that jurisdiction.
